We are hosting a 7 Night Health and Fitness Retreat for 10 people in Alicante, Spain!

We think this is the perfect fitness weekend away  –  Simply a great way to kickstart your fitness or weightloss goals or use it to reboot your existing fitness and weight loss health plans within a beautiful environment and setting. We have secured an outstanding villa in a beautiful location which will provide everything we need for a week, including plenty of sun and mountain scenery.

On arrival each guest will have a short consultation with a trainer to discuss their ambitions for the week ahead, their current level of strength & fitness, and to ensure everyone is getting what they want from this week. During the 7 days we will be running a strength & fitness timetable for each day, the daily activities are optional so you can do as much or as little as you like. The schedule will include a variety options with varying levels of intensity in each class to cater for guests looking for an intense week as well as those looking for a more comfortable choice of classes. There will be plenty of group activities such as a short/medium hike to the beach where there will be numerous beach sessions to participate in.

This trip is aimed towards people of all abilities aged between 18-60. 2 Personal Trainers, 1 male and 1 female, will be hosting the week which means it is possible to move into smaller groups to make sure that everyone is working at the correct level based on their ability. Session duration will vary depending on the time of day but they will mainly consist of 30-45 minute bouts of exercise. The weeks timetable will be designed to be appropriate for the high temperatures in the afternoon and will include plenty of downtime.

We will be covering all of the bases on this trip and we will have stretch, relaxation and sports massage sessions in the mornings and early evening to ensure everyone has the chance to unwind and recover. There is a rooftop sunbathing area and a gorgeous pool to make use of if you fancy any time out from the timetable.

Function Room: 
Our large function room based next to the cottages consist of a sofa seating area for the evenings, a 20 seat table for breakfast and evening meals and television and games area.


Location and Training

Based in the somerset levels, with great views as far as the eye can see, this is the perfect location to come for a fitness weekend. Within the schedule for the weekend we will be sure to get you out amongst the local surroundings, including a 10 mile hike across the levels with a lunch a stop at a local landmark.

At our disposal is a large barn on site next to the cottages, this will be used for one of the morning sessions and some team games. It will also be used if there are severe weather conditions for some of the training. The weekends training will consist of activities and events that may see you put into small teams, pairs and larger teams depending of levels of fitness and ability. Your sessions that take place onsite will consist of games against the clock, boxing and strength training, kettlebell and strongman segments, core strengthening and stretch, endurance hiking and depending on the season, beach training and coasteering.

Your weekends fitness training will start roughly 1 hour after arrival on the Friday evening followed by some down time and some brief get to you know you activities.

Your Saturday will get off to a flying start with an early session to get you alive and kicking! After breakfast the morning and part of the afternoon will be taken up by the selected activity which varies depending on the season of your fitness weekend. After some lunch its back to the cottages for a short afternoon break which lead into the final fitness activity for the evening. Dinner will follow and the evening is yours to relax or take part in some of the function room activities taking place.

Sunday morning will start with a slightly later morning session, but not much later! A quick breakfast and lunch preparation will set us up for the longer activity on the Sunday which will include a lunch stop.

Camp Kit List:
This camp requires you to bring some kit. We will provide you with a kit list on confirmation of your booking.

Mobile Reception:
Mobile coverage is good in all areas.

Getting There

Nearest train station:
Bridgewater – 25 minutes drive from our accommodation. If you are travelling by train we advise you arrive here by 3:00pm to allow taxi travel time to the site.

Nearest airport:
Bristol – Approx 45-60 minute drive.

Availability: Our next available weekend is March 11th-13th 2016.

These camps are suitable for men & women, ages 18+ to all fitness levels.
Teenagers aged 16-17 permitted with parental consent.
