Studio cycling or often to referred to as Spinning, is a great exercise class for beginners, intermediate and advanced participants. This is a group exercise class with a participant limit of 10. You will cycle to a set pace along to music whilst you follow the instructors lead through hill climbs and short sprints. Each bike has an adjustable resistance mechanism, the instructor will give instructions when to higher or lower the resistance but you can adjust it accordingly depending on your fitness levels.
This is a great 45 minute class and very popular. Very effective for strengthening all of the muscles in your legs as well as offering a very high calorie burning effect. These classes get fully booked very quickly so require advanced booking. If you would like to attend regularly this is done so with an advanced deposit booking.
Each studio cycling class costs £6. You will be shown how to prepare your bike for your session and also how to measure off all of the adjustable elements on the bike. Please bring a water bottle and towel to your session and arrive ten minutes early.
Studio Cycling Terms & Conditions:
A £6 bike deposit must be paid in advance for each session if you wish to book a bike a week a head. A MINIMUM of 24 hours notice must be given if you need to cancel your bike otherwise you will lose your bike deposit. If you wish to be placed on the regular cyclist list you will need to pay for a block of 4 sessions in advance to secure your bike for those 4 weeks. If you wish to change the day you are attending you must give at least 24 hours notice.
